This keepsake book presented by Rolex is the official recap of all 16 of the USGA’s championships from 2022.
Matt Fitzpatrick won his first major championship at the 122nd U.S. Open at The Country Club in Brookline, Mass. He finished the tournament with a score of 274, six-under-par, a shot ahead of Scottie Scheffler and Will Zalatoris. He had previously won the U.S. Amateur at The Country Club, in 2013, and matched Jack Nicklaus, who won both at Pebble Beach, as the only players to win the U.S. Amateur and U.S. Open on the same course. Minjee Lee wins the 77th U.S. Women’s Open at Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club in Sothern Pines, N.C. This was the second of her two major titles, four strokes ahead of runner-up Mina Harigae. Padriag Harrington holds on to win the 42nd U.S. Senior Open at Saucon Valley in Bethlehem, PA. He began the day with a five-stroke cushion, had to sweat out a one-stroke victory over 2019 champion Steve Stricker, becoming the third consecutive player to win this championship in his first appearance, and the 11th overall. Jill McGill makes history at NCR Country Club (South Course) in Kettering, Ohio. She closed with an even-par 73 on a day when no one broke par to win the U.S. Senior Women’s Open by one stroke in her first year of eligibility for the championship.
This “2022 USGA Championships Official Annual” celebrates the life-changing victories of players from all 16 USGA championships with engaging stories and captivating photographs. (Hardcover) 152 pages.
