He is only the fourth player since 1900 to win the U.S. Open by 6 or more strokes for his first major win. A Lim Kim closed out the weather-delayed final round of the 75th U.S. Women’s Open at Champions Golf Club in Houston on a chilly Monday in southeast Texas with three consecutive birdies to edge countrywoman and world No. 1 Jin Young Ko and Amy Olson by one stroke. Rose Zhang wins the U.S Women’s Amateur at Woodmont Country Club in Rockville, Md. She becomes the 10th player since 2000 to win the U.S. Women's Amateur before her 18th birthday, while Tyler Stafaci, captures the U.S. Amateur Championship in dramatic fashion at Bandon Dunes (Ore.) Golf Resort. The fifth-year Georgia Tech senior rallied from an early 5-down deficit to defeat Southern Methodist University rising junior Charles “Ollie” Osborne, 20, of Reno, Nev., 1 up, in the 36-hole championship match.
